Priming and Framing is an ambiguous title: on the one hand, both words are familiar in the context of art: the artist prepares the canvas by priming it and and finishes it by framing it by framing it. But they are also words used when the media and politicians try to control what we should talk about (priming) – and how we talk about it in public (framing). It is thus an exchange between the personal and the surrounding reality.
